Anyone here like me and was outraged at the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Protect intellectual property act (PIPA)? For the first time ever, I took the time to write my senators about these abominations of privacy. As you may know SOPA/PIPA were pulled after the Wikipedia blackout and "internet day of darkness."

Well the government has hatched another scheme to invade your privacy. CISPA, or the cyber intelligence sharing and protection act, looks to give the government unprecedented access to what you do online. This time, however, the wolf is wearing the clothing of national security rather than copyright protection. This bill, in a nutshell, would strongly urge your internet provider to share any data that shows you might be a threat to "national security." (though recently the language was expanded to include ANY violation of law) You will not know what was shared, when it was shared, and if you are being monitored. I hope the my former fellow-TMRs remember me. For those who don't and for those who are new, I am a 22 year old male in Florida. I guess you could call me Floridacapitalist 2.0 because I am now college educated! I graduated with my A.A.S. in Criminal Justice on May 4th. I going back to school in August to dual major in Nursing and get a B.A.S. in criminal justice. My political views are libertarian/capitalist and I believe that any law enacted should justify the tax dollars needed to enforce it. I'm a heavy believer in state's rights and a small central government.
