Discussion on the free encyclopedia's forum indicates that there was disagreement about whether Polanski's sexual exploitation of a 13-year-old girl in 1977 should be given more prominence than his professional achievements. One contributor wrote that it amounted to a breach of Wikipedia's commitment to neutrality to describe Polanski only as a "Polish-French film director, producer, writer and actor" in the first sentence of the entry, because "he's just as well known as a child molester as he's known as a writer". link

After reading through the transcript, I cannot believe the courts offered that pig a plea of sexual intercourse with a minor.

The 44 year old Polanski loaded a 13 year old up with champaign, takes one third of a Quaalude for himself and gives the rest to the child. Takes nude pictures of the thirteen year old, then repeatedly rapes her vaginally and anally.

Thirty plus years living in France is not punishment enough for his crimes!
