    Deaths 2009

I hate to start this thread with a child's death.

Reports: John Travolta's 16-Year Old Jett Son Dies

The family's lawyer, Michael Ossi, told Reuters that Jett died suddenly on Friday of a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island during a family vacation.

    Legendary 'First SEAL' passes away
Roy Boehm of Punta Gorda, a cantankerous retired U.S. Navy lieutenant commander who fought three wars, started the Navy's first SEAL team and shared his harrowing adventures --and his battles against military bureaucracy --in an autobiography, has completed his last mission.

Roy Boehm, who had struggled with health problems for many years, died at home Tuesday night. He was 84.

    AHH. freaking bummer

Ricardo Montalban, the Mexican-born actor who became a star in splashy MGM musicals and later as the wish-fulfilling Mr. Roarke in TV's "Fantasy Island," died Wednesday morning at his home, a city councilman said. He was 88.

Here's a song with The Stooges..., from the year I was BORN:
Iggy Pop & The Stooges, Live in Cincinatti 1970
Kinda funny to see Iggy that YOUNG - what a pretty little boy he was!
