Health Care Reform Bill Would Allow Abortion Business in Public School Clinics
In Title V of H.R. 3200, Subtitle B, called School-Based Health Clinics, outlines a new federal program where the government would fund health clinics near or in the nation's public schools.
However, Section 399Z indicates that school officials won't be responsible for administering the clinics. Instead, that responsibility falls to the clinic sponsor, which could be Planned Parenthood -- the nation's largest abortion business which does more than 350,000 a year.
"Such broad wording outlining the qualifications for government funds and access to schoolchildren could open the door for groups like Planned Parenthood to operate the clinics in schools with no oversight and full federal government support," he says.
"The clinics would be funded by federal grants awarded by the Obama administration, which has made it clear that they expect Planned Parenthood to play an active role in their proposed health care system," he says.
PRESIDENT OBAMA: We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.
While Planned Parenthood could technically be a sponsor, it's not likely as the scope of the SBHC would be far beyond anything Planned Parenthood currently offers. Even still, if they wanted to, so what? Part of the passage indicated that SBHCs would still have to comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding parental consent, so I'm not worried about "abortion clinics in our schools" which is obviously the fear the article is trying to hammer home. If Planed Parenthood wants to open up a full-service school clinic in an area that shows great need for such a thing (which is also a requirement in the bill to get federal funding) then so what?
SO, Let me get this straight.
We're going to get a health care plan shoved down our throats that is written by a committee whose head says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, signed by a president that also hasn't read it, and who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's nearly broke.
What could possibly go wrong?

Obama to Meet With Daschle Friday
Daschle's idea was to do health care in increments, buried in other bills.Daschle had been Obama’s choice to serve as Health and Human Services Secretary and to lead the White House health care office, but he was forced to withdraw his nomination over questions about his taxes.
Daschle wrote a 2008 book about health care, “Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis,” and he has remained active on the issue since his withdrawal in February. He recently expressed support for taxing employer-provided benefits to help pay for the health care overhaul.
Apparently Part I of Obamacare was already passed in the Stimulus Bill.
they've already set up their 15 member council
'Death panel' is not in the bill... it already exists
Daschle says health-care reform "will not be pain free." Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them.
PRESIDENT OBAMA: We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.
As expected...
Abortion Will Be Part of ObamaCare
It should come as no surprise that the health care overhaul being designed by congressional Democrats include provisions for federally mandated coverage of abortions by insurance providers. After all, liberals embrace what President Obama has called "reproductive justice," which apparently includes killing unborn children. (The "justice" aspect has us scratching our heads.) Some members of Congress and the president himself on occasion have stated publicly that no such mandate exists, but they are lying.
The word abortion does not appear in the draft legislation, but several provisions would not only force insurance companies to cover abortions, they would override several state laws and would ultimately lead to taxpayer funded abortions. This is what groups like Planned Parenthood have worked for all along, but the secret is out now, thanks in part to some liberal members of Congress who brazenly admit their stance that taxpayers should pay for abortions, regardless of their moral stance on the issue. "Abortion will be covered as a benefit by one or more of the health care plans available to Americans," said Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), "and I think it should be." Naturally, a broad cross-section of the public is opposed to this idea, but that's never stopped liberals before.

They're half right. Abortion isn't mentioned, anywhere, in the health care reform bill. Everything else in that article is just pure speculation. The bill makes mention of what minimum level of care will be covered, and mentions that additional levels of coverage will be available at a premium, but what services those premium packages cover has yet to be determined. Abortion would only be covered if a future bill deems it so, and that would only occur if this bill passes.
They wouldn't have to do much though, as abortion is already covered by many health insurance plans.
Factcheck.org: Tax money will pay for abortion in the health-care billWe already knew this, thanks to Rep. Zoe Lofgren and Barack Obama himself, but it’s nice to get confirmation from those fine folks at Factcheck.org — an Annenberg project, no less. After Obama tried to paint it as a lie, the National Right to Life Committee insisted that ObamaCare would use taxpayer money to fund abortions. It turns out that they were right...
